More than 20 deals regarding cooperation between Russian and energy firms based in Japan are expected to be signed over the course of a visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Japan, TASS news agency reports.




This is what Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Thursday. According to him, 23 memorandums and agreements having been prepared for signing. The Russian party will be presented by Gazprom, Rosneft, Novatek, RusHydro, Rosseti and other big corporations. On the Japanese part, there will be such companies, as Mitsui, Mitsubishi Motors, Marubeni and TEPCO.

As Alexander Novak put it, these documents would “allow to start implementing specific projects.”
