According to the preliminary data, in 2016, Siberian Cement Holding reduced cement production by 19%, down to 3.1 million tons, compared with the previous year, the statement released by the holding says.
“Such a serious decline in production is due to a general decline in the market volume of the Northern Federal District of Russia, in 2016, the consumption of cement in the macro-region will decrease by 14%, down to the level of the year 2015”, the press release reads.
As a reference, JSC Holding Company Siberian Cement, established in 2004, includes LLC Topkinsky Cement, LLC Krasnoyarsk Cement, LLC Timlyui Cement, LLC Mining Company and others.
