One of the Swedish national pension funds, AP7, threatens to exclude from its investment portfolio six major energy companies, including Russian Gazprom, due to their insufficient implementation of the Paris agreements on climate change, Swedish business newspaper Dagens industry reports.

Four of the six companies are the American Entergy, Southern Company, Westar Energy, as well as Exxon Mobil, whose head Rex Tillerson presented as the State Secretary of administration of the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. The list also includes Canadian company Transcanada and Russian Gazprom.

“We'll get in touch with CEO's of each company and inform them about our findings that their activities are conducted in violation of the Paris agreement”, - said the head of AP7 Richard Gretham.
