From March 2016, Pilkington, a Russian factory incorporated in SP Glass Group, began exporting glass with nano-coating to Dubai, Lebanon, Ireland and Australia, Rambler News Service reports.
We should remind you that SP Glass Group is a portfolio company of Rusnano, a government-owned joint-stock company established by the government of Russia for the purpose to commercialize developments in nanotechnology.
“At the end of year 2016, we export 30% of the volume. The matter doesn’t concern simple products that other Russian glass companies deliver abroad as well, but it concerns the expensive and high-tech ones. This year, Russia, represented by us, has become an active provider of glass with magnetron sputtering to the Middle East, Ireland, Australia”, a member of the Board of Directors of SP Glass Dmitry Sulin said.
He added that the factory’s products have been used in a medical center and in residential complexes.
