Building a bridge across the Amur River between the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk and Heihe, a Chinese city located on the border with Russia will be officially launched on the 24th of December, 2016, Governor of the Amur region, Alexander Kozlov announced on Thursday.
“The project of Nizhne-Bureyskaya hydro power plant soon will be completed. A short while ago, we put in operation the second phase of Blagoveshchensk thermal power plant. On Saturday, we official launch construction of a bridge to China. The project is also connected with energy, since we will have to solve the issues of power supply and provision of infrastructure” the press office of the regional government cited Alexander Kozlov.
As it was reported earlier, in November, the project of Russian-Chinese bridge passage was submitted to state expertise. The bridge construction will be carried out in three stages.
