Arms sales through Rosoboronexport are expected to amount to $13,08 billion, according to the results of the year 2016, while the current package of the company’s orders totals approximately $45 billion, head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, told reporters on Tuesday.
“I believe that we will implement the plan. At present, we are consigning supplies and we expect to complete it until the end of the year. In any case, it will be more than last year, when we had some $12,9 billion. This means that there is an annual growth”, Sergey Chemezov said.
Rosoboronexport is the only Russian exporters of weapons and military hardware, the company accounts for over 85% of export in this segment. Rosoboronexport cooperates with more than 700 enterprises and organizations of the defense and industrial complex of Russia.
