A program for construction of four modern wastes recycling plants was launched in the Moscow region.
As the Moscow regional Governor, Andrey Vorobyev, said today in an interview to Vesti FM that all the plants would be located within the area of the region’s towns.
“Often these landfill sites can be seen from the window of a residential house, that is why we embark on the construction of modern waste incinerating factories, where sorted out wastes will be brought and utilized,” Vorovyev said.
Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the State Council in Kremlin on the issue of “ecological development of the Russian Federation in the interests of future generations”.
