A 12-room hotel in Italian style will be built near “Tsvetnoy Bulvar” metro station located in the center of Moscow, chief architect of Moscow, Sergey Kuznetsov, told reporters on Thursday.

“Moscow tourist sector is rapidly developing and a hotel room stock is increasing both through the construction of new buildings and the reconstruction of the existing ones. As Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said earlier, at present, an average occupancy of Moscow hotels is 70-75%. Many of them are situated in a historical center of the city, as well as a new hotel on Tsvetnoy Bulvar. As an architect, I'm pleased to see that the commissioner paid attention not only to comfortability of rooms, but to a visual appeal of buildings, and take into account peculiarities of infrastructure,” said chief architect of Moscow.
