Gazprom, a Russian gas giant, intends to bring an action before the commercial court against private Turkish gas importers, with which the company failed to agree the gas price for the year 2017, Kommersant newspaper reports today with the reference to its sources in both countries.
According to the newspaper, the agreement has not been reached, because Gazprom considers the prices to be understated.
Utmost politization of interaction between Moscow and Ankara forces Gazprom to defend its commercial interests in the court, Kommersants says citing experts. Gazprom Export has already formulated the relative documents, which are more likely to be filed to a commercial court in Stockholm.
