Russia's highest observation wheel erected in Urals

Russia's highest all-season observation wheel was put in operation in Chelyabinsk, the Russian city located in the Urals, the website of the company in charge of this infrastructural project reports on Friday.




A 73-meter-high attraction was built in the center of Chelyabinsk, near one of the culture and recreation centers. The project was granted all required approval permitting documents and undergone necessary technical tests.
The new observation wheel is the third highest in Russia and the highest one in the country among the all-season observation wheels.
The attraction has 18 closed cabins for six persons each and is equipped with climate control system and cushioned seats.
The project is estimated at 100 million rubles ($1,7 million).
