Governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, promised to establish in Russia the first resort of world importance due to the construction of a road between the cities of Kislovodsk and Sochi.
As the Governor explained over the course of his appearance in the Russian Council of Federation, at present, in the region's investment portfolio, there is a project for the establishment of transport infrastructure, which will allow to connect Kislovodsk wit Sochi or Krasnaya Polyana.
The length of a new motorway will amount to about 250 kilometers, a section of 95 kilometers has to be completed yet.
The project's implementation will increase the number of visitors of the regional resorts by at least 6 million people.
