Since the beginning of this year, Henkel facility producing materials for floor coating, ceramic tiles and waterproofers under the brands of Thomsit and Ceresit, which is located in Western Europe, has become a part of PCI Group.
The company is a subsidiary of the world's largest manufacturer of building chemicals, BASF. The deal also includes acquisition of the right of use of Thomsit and Ceresit brands.
According to the available data, PCI rents Henkel plant in the German city of Unna for the period of 2 – 3 years, and then the company will continue production at its three existing sites.
Apart from that, PCI Group plans to invest in the development of a production facility in Hammah situated in the vicinity to Unna. Construction of a multilayer warehouse and additional manufacturing sites are planned as well.
