A British worker died over the course of construction of stadium of 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Associated Press reports.
Details of the death of a 40-year old citizen of the United Kingdom have not been revealed yet. The Qatar authorities has already announced the start of investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup and is to be held in Qatar. It is noteworthy that this will be the first time the World Cup will take place in the Middle East, and in an Arab and a Muslim country.
