Nevada, a Far Eastern retailer, revives its plans to build a trade and recreation complex with an aqua park in the city of Khabarovsk located in the Russian Far East, PR director of Sambery (incorporated in Nevada), Olga Yegorova, told Interfax news agency on Friday.

A total cost of the project is estimated at 5 billion rubles ($84 million).

“A portion of investments will be made by Nevada, and about 70% are the funds of an investor. At present, the negotiations are being carried out with Korean company Meritz, which had earlier dropped out of talks due to the stance of the city authorities,” Yegorova noted.

The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in the year 2018.
