The authorities of Israel approved plans for the construction of 2,500 residential units in Israelis settlements located on the West Bank of Jordan, the statement released by the country’s Defense Ministry says.
According to the data provided by the Defense Minister, Avigdor Liberman, the housing will be constructed on the territories of Israelis settlements, where the country’s government aspires to fix the control, regardless of the results of forthcoming negotiations with Palestinians.
Western media reports that the majority of Western countries don’t approve the construction of Israelis settlements on the West Bank’s territory. However, the Israelis authorities expect that a new administration of U.S. President Donald Trump will support the country on this issue.
