Approximately 300 foreign trademarks entered Russian market over the course of the last ten years, the research conducted by Knight Frank Group revealed, Interfax news agency reports on Wednesday.
According to the data available to the experts, the year 2016 became the second in a volume of new trademarks’ putting in operation – 55 international retailers opened their first shops in Russia. In comparison with 2015, a portion of new market actors has increased by 12%, what demonstrates a restored interest of foreign operators in Russian market.
The record was established in the year 2014, when 68 new foreign shops were opened. Among the leaders, in terms of a country of origin, there are Italy, the USA, Great Britain, France and Germany.
