New archeologic museum might be established in a basement part of the dismantled 14th bulk of Moscow Kremlin over the course of the next three year, director general of Moscow Kremlin’s museums, Elena Gagarina announced on Thursday.
“In order to set up such a museum, it is necessary to arrange the space from an architectural perspective, what would require significant expenditure and durable and determined efforts on the part of a number of organizations. A concept for the museum has already been determined. In the next three years, this new space will emerge on the territory of Kremlin,” Gagarina said at a press conference.
She stressed that objects discovered during archaeological digs would be kept there.
