Russia allocates $72m to set up helicopter-mounted system in Rostov region

The Russian Helicopters, JSC, one of the global leaders in helicopter production, reached an agreement with the Ministry for Industry and Trade of Russia on allocation from the state budget of 4,3 billion rubles ($72 million) on construction of a helicopter-mounted system in the Rostov region, Governor Vasilyi Golubev told reporters on Thursday.




“I can definitely tell you that such agreements have reached,” the Governor of the Rostov region said. Vasilyi Golubev specified that, first of all, the matter concerned the creation of a flight-test base.

However, there is no available detailed information on what the funds in amount of 4,3 billion rubles will be spent.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Helicopters, JSC launched the implementation of a project for establishing a helicopter-mounted system in Bataisk with an area of almost 800 hectares.
