A facility processing cannabis will be built in the Penza region, located in the southeastern part of European Russia.
The construction is scheduled for the years of 2017 – 2018.
Cannabis has already been planted, now it is needed to build a plant to process the herb.
The Penza regional Ministry of Forest held a meeting to discuss the issues related to raising and processing cannabis. Potential investors, as well as representatives of the Corporation for Region’s Development took part in the meeting.
Cannabis is planned to be converted into fiber, cellulose and oil. At present, the parties discuss the selection of construction sites for the facility in the Penza and Nizhnelomovsky districts of the region.
