An investor from Europe intends to invest over 4 billion rubles ($74 million) in construction of a plant producing glass blocks in the town of Dyatkovo located in the Bryansk region, Russia, the representative of the regional government told TASS news agency on Tuesday.
A construction site has already been selected for the enterprise, the preparation and legalization of documentation is underway. An application for compensation for a part of expenditure on equipment purchase has been submitted to the Ministry for Industry and Trade.
“Investor is interested in the enterprise location in Dyatkovo, because, since the Soviet era, a lot of glass industry enterprises have been located there. The city has a reserve base for manufacture and specialists.” The government told the agency.
