Metro builders from China have brought to Moscow four tunnel boring machines, in order to work with the familiar equipment, Deputy Mayor for City-Planning Policy and Construction, Marat Khusnullin, told reporters on Tuesday.
According to the data provided by Marat Khusnullin, a total of 500 Chinese engineers from China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) will arrive to build Moscow metro stations.
Chinese metro tunnelers will complete 2% of all construction activities envisaged by the program. However, the share might increase. First of all, the matter concerns building three metro stations of the Third Interchange Circuit for 23 billion rubles.
As a reference, CRCC is the second largest state building company in China, specialized in construction of railway infrastructure, tunnels, bridges, highways, airports and seaports.
