Fireguards of Beijing, the Chinese capital city, have been equipped with special rocket installations, so that they could fight a fire at the upper storeys of the buildings.
This novelty allows to douse the flame at the height of the 60th storey and over. The installation contains a total number of 12 rockets with heads filled with 3,6 kg of special substance each, allowing to fight a fire in the area of 60 square meters. Such rocket is capable to break a 19-mm glass at the height of up to 300 meters.
The price of the complex totals 8,5 million yuan ($1,24 million).
We should remind you that more than 60 buildings with the height of over 200 meters have been built in China.
