Tesla expands to the Middle East and now it is entering the UAE market, where the company intends to sell its electric cars, CNBC reports on Monday.
For this purpose, a relative website was started for the local customers, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said. The electric will start taking orders for the Model S and Model X, which are expected to be delivered as early as this summer. The company will also open a pop-up store in The Dubai Mall, while a service center is under construction there.
Two superchargers have already opened and five more are expected until the end of 2017. This technology allows Tesla owners to charge their cars within minutes.
