The first private science park will be built this year in Sevastopol, a city located on the Crimean Peninsula, at the premises of the former “Mayak” plant, director of the Department of Sevastopol Priority Projects Development, Sergey Gradirovsky, announced today at a session of the city parliament.
“We held negotiations and we were understood by the brownfield’s owners, they signed a road map and entered into a commitment to convert the object inti a full-fledged science park,” Sergey Gradirovsky said.
He added that the object would become the first private science park in Crimea and Sevastopol.
The science park will be established at the premises of “Mayak” plant’s industrial site, where currently about 20 small and middle-size enterprises are located.
