Wuhan, a Chinese company, signed an agreement with the Iranian Masjed Soleyman Petrochemical Industries Co (MIS), under which China will invest $3.6 billion in oil refinery owned by the Iranian company, Rambler News reports on Wednesday with the reference to Mehr news agency.
“The agreement in the amount of $3.6 billion was signed by the managing director of MIS Youssef Davudi and representative of the Chinese company,” — the statement reads.
In addition to this agreement, Iran signed two more documents with two European countries – Austria and the Netherlands.
In particular, Iran intends to produce food products jointly with Austria, and baby food – in partnership with the Netherlands.
