Israelis to supply equipment for new salmon breeding factory in Russia

Friedman Fish, a company based in the Russian city of Khabarovsk, intends to build the first in the Russian Far East salmon breeding factory with a closed water supply located on one of the sites in the advanced development territory.




As the head of the enterprise, Leonid Friedman said, at present, there are just a few of such facilities in the country. The Khabarovsk enterprise will produce salmon, both caviar and adults, which will be straightway dispatched for sale.

A plot of land in “Rakitnoye” site has already been allotted to the project implementation, a business plan is prepared. Also, the company concluded a contract with Israelis company on the equipment supply for the facility.

The factory’s production capacity will amount to 2,000 tons of fish per year.

A total cost of the enterprise’s first phase will exceed 2 billion rubles.
