The Uruguayan state company ANCAP (Administracion Nacional de Combustibles, Alcohol y Portland) plans to sign a cooperation agreement with Gazprom, the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay, Carolina Cosse, told RNS on the sidelines of the Russian-Uruguayan business forum.
However, she explained that the matter does not concern yet the participation of the Russian gas holding in specific projects.
“No, it is not. But what we're going to do is to sign a cooperation agreement between Gazprom and a state-owned company ANCAP on cooperation in a general sense. And that is all so far,” — she said, answering the question about whether decisions about Gazprom’s participation in projects in Uruguay were taken.
