In 2017, the Defense Ministry of Russia plans to put in operation almost 3,200 buildings and structures, the Minister of Defense general of the army Sergei Shoigu announced today.
“This year it is planned to put into operation 3166 buildings and structures. This will increase the ability of military forces to solve problems as intended and will ensure proper storage conditions for weapons, equipment and ammunition,” —Sergei Shoigu said at the Board meeting of the Defense Ministry of Russia.
However, he noted that balanced development of the Armed Forces, as well as the pace of rearmament of the Army and Navy are directly dependent on modern supporting infrastructure.
