A total amount of funding for Sirik thermal power plant construction in Iran will be $1,4 billion, Russian Energy Minister, Alexander Novak, said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel.
“The ratio of the use of Russian materials, equipment, technologies will be 70 to 30 in favor of Russian companies. The total funding for the station is $1.4 billion, of which $1.2 billion will be allocated from the publicly funded loan. Of course, this envisages interests, these are income generating investments of the Russian budget”, - Novak said, commenting on Sirik TPP.
On 20 February, Russia and Iran set to the construction of Sirik thermal power plant with a capacity of 1.4 GW in the city of Bandar Abbas located in southern Iran.
