President of Turkey, Recep Erdogan, will arrive in Moscow on the 9th of March and will stay in the Russian capital city for two days, representative from the Turkish embassy told Interfax news agency on Monday.
“We confirm the fact of the visit scheduled for the 9th and 10th March,” the Turkish diplomatic mission in Moscow said. Earlier, this information was delivered by Anadolu news agency with the reference to its sources in the Turkish Presidential Administration.
According to the source, President Recep Erdogan plans to take part in a summit of the Cooperation Council.
Earlier, Turkish President’s advisor Ilnur Cevik said that Russia’s presence in Syrian Latakia is crucial for the regional stability. He made this statement at the Moscow conference devoted to Russia-Turkey relations.
