A greenhouse with an area of 10 hectares is planned to be built in the Chuvash Republic, Russia, to produce vegetables upon unique Canadian technology.




As Construction.RU was told today in Renova state corporation, the corresponding agreement was signed by chairman of the company’s board of directors, Viktor Vekselberg, and the head of Chuvasia, Mikhail Ignatyev, in the run-up-to investment forum in Sochi.

At present, necessary documentation is being prepared and the plans for the sale of the future production are being developed. In particular, the plan provides for supplies of cucumbers and tomatoes in schools, nursery schools and health centers of the region.

The enterprise will produce approximately 75,000 tons of products per year. A total amount of investment is estimated at 25 billion rubles.
