As of the end of 2016, Forbes published a ranking of “Kings of Government Contracts”, in which the former rating’s leader, Arkady Rotenberg, and his companies were moved from the first to the seventh position.
This time the list was topped by owners of Peton Holding based in Ufa, Igor Mnyshkin, Oleg Polyakov and Vladimir Zaitsev. Last year, they managed to obtain contracts for a total amount of 176 billion roubles. It is noteworthy that previously they had received from Gazprom gas holding only small contracts.
However, in 2016, they managed to get two major orders. The first provided for the construction of LNG facility in the Leningrad region (126,75 billion rubles), and the second order was for the installation of Achimov deposits’ condensate stabilization on the Yamal Peninsula (47.7 billion rubles).
