Moscow took the 14th place in the ranking of the most expensive cities in the world in terms of office rents and housing for employees of international companies, report made by Savills says.
“The total cost for accommodation of one member of an international company in Moscow amounts to $44.700. At the same time, over the course of the year, these expenditures decreased by 7.5%, and Moscow moved up from the13th to 14th position in the rating”, the message reads.
The rating was topped by New York and Hong Kong, whereas the former leader, London, moved down.
“A year ago London was the most expensive city in the world in terms of office rents and housing for employees of international companies. However, according to experts, due to pound sterling depreciation, London neared Paris and Tokyo, yielding the pas to New York and Hong Kong with higher prices,” - the report states.
