China will actively oppose protectionism and advocate globalization of the world economy, Premier of the State Council of China, Li Keqiang, said over the course of a presentation of the annual Government Work Report.
Li Keqiang addressed deputies of the China’s National People’s Congress on the 5th of March, Interfax reports.
“China will oppose any forms of protectionism, and will be more involved in international management, as well as will strive to ensure that economic globalization is more inclusive, mutually beneficial and equitable”, the Premier stressed.
Earlier, at the recent economic forum in Davos, Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, made a similar appeal for globalization of the global economy.
