This year Belarussian authorities will invest in highways stripping, containing glass elements made under the brand of Swarovski, in the Minsk region, Interfax reports citing a representative of road maintenance agency.
About 4.65 million Belarusian rubles are planned to be allocated to modernization of highways stripping in Minsk region, this is a third of a total amount allotted to the company to carry out repair activities.
However, it has a peculiarity: the stripping will be decorated with small elements produced by Swarovski AG, an Austrian producer of cut lead glass. The effect will be perceptible, given that light-reflecting capacity of the road stripping depends on glass elements, which compose the enamel used.
