Kazakhstan increases tariff for transporting Russian oil to China

The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan approved the tariff for transportation of Russian oil to China at the level of $11.36 per ton without VAT, according to the statement released by the Ministry.




The document says that the new tariff for transportation of Russian oil in the amount of up to 10 million tons per year was established for the period of 2017-2018. Its transportation is carried out through the territory of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China.

As the Ministry notes, the price for oil transportation at the section on Russia-Kazakhstan border (Priirtyshsk) — Atasu (Kazakhstan) will amount to $3,11 per ton without VAT, while at the section of Atasu — Alashankou it will total $8,25 per ton without VAT.
