LLP Baiterek Travel Center is planning to build a resort Yurt camp under the name of “Koksai” in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan, the source in the regional chamber of entrepreneurs told Interfax news agency on Friday.




“For the purpose of implementing the project, investments in amount of $935 million tenge ($2,8 million – editor’s note) will be attracted,” - the representative of the chamber said.

According to the information provided, the capacity of the resort will amount to 15 thousand people a year. The resort will be equipped with all necessary infrastructure: hotels, administrative buildings, catering facilities and parking lots.

As a reference, a traditional yurt is a round tent covered with skins or felt. It was used as a dwelling by nomads in Central Asia.
