In February, Russian gas giant Gazprom brought a case before the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce against Turkish private importers of Russian gas for the purpose to revise the prices for supplies, Bloomberg reports with the reference to Gazprom’s documentation.

According to the agency, the matter concerns the following companies importing gas: Gaz Akfel, Bati Hatti, Kibar Enerji.

As Kommersant newspaper reported earlier, Gazprom intended to file lawsuits against private companies importing Russian gas to Turkey, as it considered the purchase price for gas in 2017 to be understated.

It is noteworthy that today Turkish President Recep Erdogan arrived in Moscow to hold a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
