Russia and Iran discuss contracts estimated at $10 billion, the Energy Minister of Russia, Alexander Novak, informed reporters on Monday.




“There's a large range. Today we talked (about contracts - editor’s note), totaling approximately $10 billion,” - Alexander Novak said following a meeting of the first Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Igor Shuvalov, and the Minister for Information and Communication Technologies of the Islamic Republic, co-Chairman of intergovernmental Russian-Iranian Commission, Mahmoud Vaezi.

Earlier, Mahmoud Vaezi and Alexander Novak discussed upcoming bilateral documents. According to the Iranian Minister, eight documents are already completed, and another six are in the works.

We should remind you that it was reported that a visit of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Moscow had been planned for the end of March.
