In 2017, Singapore Changi international airport for the fifth consecutive year topped the global ranking World Airport Awards, which the British marketing company Skytrax compiles on the basis of passengers’ feedback.
Airport Haneda Tokyo has moved up to second position from the fourth, bringing South Korea's Incheon airport and Munich airport named after Franz Josef Strauss to the third and fourth positions respectively. On the fifth line remains Hong Kong international airport. Doha Hamad moved up to the sixth position from the tenth it held last year.
Airport Sentorea, also known as Chubu Centrair, located on an artificial island near the Japanese city of Tonosama, dropped to the seventh position, and the Zurich airport moved down to the eighth, London’s Heathrow - to the ninth.
