In 2016, investments into real estate of St. Petersburg has grown in 1,6 times, up to $773 million, according to a press release of Colliers International consulting company.
The vast majority of transactions in St. Petersburg market for the third consecutive year have been carried out at a price not exceeding $10 million – their share accounted for 45% following the results of the last year, according to a press release.
While large for St. Petersburg transactions with a total budget of more than $50 million have not been concluded, and the assets worth more than $100 million have not been sold for the past two years, there has been a growth in the share of transactions in the segment of $10-25 million. The average transaction value amounted to about 1 billion rubles.
