The authorities of Ingushetia, the republic situated in Russian Caucasus, have decided to attract benefactors and managers of construction companies to complete building the mosques in a number of cities and districts, the press office of the head of the Republic informed on Monday.
“Due to the lack of predictable funding and lack of funds, the construction of a number of central mosques designed for congregational Friday prayers has been suspended in the Republic. The head of Ingushetia decided to arrange work on the completion of the delayed construction by engaging major investors and benefactors,” — the message reads.
“Luckily, there are a lot of investors and philanthropists in the Republic, who are engaged in charity, assistance to low-income people and are willing to contribute to the construction of mosques,” — the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, said.
