Nearly 40 hotels with more than 6.9 thousand rooms are planned to be built within the course of 2017 and 2018 in Moscow, the Deputy Mayor for urban policy and construction, Marat Khusnullin, told reporters on Tuesday.
“Every year, some 7-10 hotels are put into operation in Moscow. So, 8 hotels for 1387 rooms were commissioned last year, and this year, the opening of 11 hotels for 2840 rooms is planned,” — Marat Khusnullin said.
However, according to him, a significant increase in the numbers of new hotels is expected by 2018.
“Next year we plan to put in operation 27 hotels, and 12 of them will open until mid-year,” — he noted.
