Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Rogozin, invited China to invest in construction of railway lines to the ports of the Northern sea route to transport their goods to Europe.

This is what Russian Deputy Prime Minister said at the International Youth Educational Arctic forum “The Arctic. Made in Russia” held in the Arkhangelsk region.

Russia offers China to ship its goods to Europe via the Northern sea route, by investing in the construction of railways under the conditions of concession.

The matter concerns “Belkomur” projects or a railway, which will connect the Urals with the Northern sea ports, Dmitry Rogozin said.

According to him, over the course of a meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Russia and China, the delegates of the latter voiced their questions and suggestions regarding these plans.
