Japanese technologies to be introduced in Russian housing, utility sector

Housing and utility sector of the Russian Far East has gained a new impetus due to Russian-Japanese project for introduction of modern technologies in this area and the priority project for the creation of a comfortable urban environment.




This is what the Deputy Construction Minister, Andrei Chibis, told on Thursday at a meeting in the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok. He stressed that the federal subsidy totaling 1,13 billion rubles and allotted to the subjects of the Russian Federation should be distributed by the regions on the basis of the municipalities’ activity and needs.

All municipalities with the population amounting to more than 1000 people, that have not been included in a plan for urban development for 2017, will participate in a program for the period of 2018 – 2023.

Development of urban environment of the city of Vladivostok is implemented as a pilot project of the relevant Russian-Japanese working group.
