In April, a new maritime transport corridor is planned to be launched between China and Russia, China Radio International (CRI) said on Friday.
According to CRI, this was announced by Deputy Chairman of the standing committee of the People's Representatives Assembly of the city of Suifenhe, located in Heilongjiang province. He explained that the new corridor would be put in operation on 11 April. The goods will be sent from the Vostochny port situated in the Primorsk territory to the port city of Taicang in China's Jiangsu province.
The launch of a new maritime transport corridor will reduce transport costs and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, as well as will save the cost and time of delivery.
