Gas production in Russia increased by 8,2% in early 2017

In the period between January and March 2017, the volume of gas production in Russia increased by 8.2% compared with the same period in 2016, and amounted to 183,514 billion cubic meters.




Such data contains in the operational report of the Central Control Administration of the Fuel and Energy Complex.

In March, Russia produced 58,795 billion cubic meters of gas, what means an increase of 8.2% relative to March last year.

However, the Central Control Administration of the Fuel and Energy Complex does not provide a separate data on gas extraction conducted by Gazprom. This information is included in the line titled “other minerals developers”, which for the first quarter have produced 140,897 billion cubic meters of fuel (44,167 billion cubic meters in March).
