A group of Russian inspectors plans to run a check of the area on the territory of the United Kingdom in the period from the 3rd to 6th of April.
The inspection will be carried out within the framework of the implementation of 2011 Vienna document on the measures for confidence building and ensuring security, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday.
“Inspection is conducted in order to determine the scope of notified military activities within the area or to confirm the absence of military activity subject to preliminary notification”, — the message reads.
The area subject to inspection will cover about 18 square km.
