Explosions have thundered at metro stations “Sennaya” and “Tekhnologichesky Institut” in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, where Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived to take part in a Media Forum.




According to a source in law enforcement agencies of the city, there are victims, at least ten people died, 50 injured, including children.

The movement of trains on the entire line has been stopped.

The cause of the explosions are not clear so far, but the police considers a terror attack as a possible version.

As our source in law enforcement agency said, two improvised explosive devices of low power went off at the scenes.

According to TASS news agency, helicopters are involved in rescue operation to evacuate victims of the explosion in St. Petersburg metro.
