The first phase of one of Moscow’s largest transport hubs, “Ryazanskaya”, is planned to be commissioned next year, a deputy general director at Mosinzhproekt development company, Albert Suniev, told reporters on Wednesday.

“This site will unite an under construction metro station “Nizhegorodskaya Ulitsa” of the Third Interchange Circuit and the Kozhukhovskaya metro line, as well as a stop of the Moscow Central Ring and Karacharovo platform at radial direction of the railway. This will be one of the largest transport hubs in Moscow,” Albert Suniev said.

According to him, all traffic flows will be connected at the site of underground distribution hall, and, in fact, passengers will be able to change from one mode of transport to another without coming upstairs to the surface.

A total area of the transfer hub’s facilities will amount to about 125,000 square meters, of which about 30,000 square meters account for a technological part.
